How can mindfulness help your clients/ patients?
Mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR) is an evidence based course with proven benefits in stress and anxiety reduction and improvements in concentration, ability to live with chronic health conditions and pain, as well as improved quality of life, more joy and creativity.
MBSR is provided as a treatment option in the UK through the NHS.

ACC ISSC REFERRALS
Kate is an ACC ISSC treatment provider and group provider.
She provides 1×1 adjunctive therapy that lead providers can refer their clients to (using SCSW hours)
Providing trauma sensitive mindfulness and self compassion based therapy. Kate’s speciality is in individualizing these science based practices to fit a person’s life, body, neurotype and nervous system.
Group work approved by ACC ISSC in Rangiora is:
- Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
- The Building Resilience 5 week course (available 2024)
- Mindful self compassion workshop (available 2024)
Referrals will not be accepted without a referral form and contact with provider.
