The year of mindfulness A3 fund raiser calendar:
These special local calendars are now available to order. For yourself, your school/ office or as a special Christmas gift that keeps giving, all year long.
This is not just a calendar it is a wellbeing tool too, to share with whanau, friends and colleagues.
It is totally local, all images taken in North Canterbury and each month has a wellbeing/ mindfulness practice to explore.
They are $32 each which covers the $14 printing costs and $18 goes into the MNC course assistance fund.
MNC runs as a social enterprise using a not for profit model; to provide a service specifically to North Canterbury. It provides cutting edge, science based pro active community mental wellbeing and resilience building courses and workshops. The course asssistance fund enables special supported rates to be available for courses and workshops.
This really is the gift that keeps giving all year long! To you and your community.

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction 8 week course (MBSR) Rangiora
Evidence based, comprehensive mindfulness training with a Registered MBSR teacher and experienced mental health clinician.
Next course: February 2022 email to be on the list if you want to have a place (5 places left)
When ? The course runs on 8 consecutive Wednesday evenings 6pm -8.30/ 9pm, plus one day long retreat on a Sunday. See dates below.
Places are limited to 12 only.
The Rangiora course offers a smaller group size, a personal touch with lots of support in a rural setting with local ongoing support afterwards.

Mindfulness Practice Group
This practice group is for anyone that has done an intro. course or another mindfulness course and wants to keep their practice alive by joining a community of like minded folks to practice with.
The group will involve some sort of combination of the following:
guided mindfulness practice
some instruction/ teachings
Facilitated exploration of our mindfulness practice, what we are noticing and how we are relating to our experience ( this is called inquiry).

Building resilience 5 week course: Rangiora
This course is run as a “not for profit community course” and is supported generously by community benefactors based in a social permaculture model.

Group is limited to 18 places.
Cost: choose what you are best able to pay, so the course can keep going (The course fees are kept low so everyone can attend. The course is worth $200.00)
Benefactor rate (support another person in your community who is not able to pay, to attend the course too) $ 170
Standard rate $ 135 (payment by installment before course starts an option).
Supported rate $ 50
